(And Oh, How My Heart Is Rejoicing!)
Sweet friends, I have been counting the days to share this with you — and today is finally the day! With so much joy (and just a few happy tears), I get to announce the release of my newest children’s devotional:
From the Jesse Tree to Epiphany: 41 Advent and Christmas Bible Rhymes for Kids
This book was written for families just like yours — for moms with busy hearts, for grandmothers who long to pass the faith on, for teachers and catechists shaping young souls, and especially for children who learn best through story, rhythm, and wonder.

This devotional invites families on a joyful journey through salvation history, beginning with the Jesse Tree and continuing all the way through the Twelve Days of Christmas to Epiphany.
Each day unfolds like a storybook:
Together, families walk from:
Creation → Promise → Prophecy → Nativity → Revelation
Children meet beloved figures from the Bible — Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Ruth, David, Isaiah, Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the Magi — each one pointing straight to Jesus, the Root of Jesse and the Light of the World.
My deepest hope was to create a devotional that doesn’t add pressure — but instead creates peace.
This is a book you can:
Parents and grandparents tell me they love how it turns daily prayer into a heart-warming family ritual, blending faith, creativity, and storytelling in a way children truly remember.
This new release beautifully complements my earlier Christmas storybook and gives families a full, continuous path:
It restores the sacred rhythm of the Church year in a way children can understand and love.
You can learn more and find the book through my ministry at HowToKeepChristInAdvent.com, along with free Advent resources, printables, and family guides to help you begin right away.
Friends, thank you for walking this road of faith with me — candle by candle, story by story, child by child. My prayer is that this little book brings great grace into your homes this Advent and Christmas.
With joyful hope,
Rebecca ✨

By celebrating each day with Scripture, prayer, and Jesse Tree ornaments, embracing acts of love, and remembering that Christmas begins with Christ’s coming, not just on December 25th.
An Advent wreath is a circle of evergreen branches with four candles—three purple and one rose—used by Catholics and many Christian families to mark the four weeks of Advent. Each candle represents a theme of the season (Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love), and lighting them week by week helps us prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus, the Light of the World.
Advent is a Christian season of anticipation and preparation before Christmas, inviting us to reflect, pray, and wait in joyful hope for Jesus’ birth and His Second Coming.
